TSA fees increase Monday

You’ll pay more to fly starting Monday to help cut the federal deficit.

Airport security and TSA fees are going up. Right now, they are $2.50 for non-stop flights and $5 for trips that require a connecting flight. They go up to $5.60 each way.

Congress approved it in December. The revenue generated will be used to help reduce the deficit, not for airport security.
