Flowers and plants make any garden. Use a variety of greens to create a boarder that looks good in every season. Accent the border with color. Do not be afraid to use color. Plant tall plants in tall planters, and short plants in short planters. Mix vegetable and decorative plans for production and beauty. Plant a variety of leafy green plants to provide interest and texture to the garden.
A Garden can be created in a small space like a balcony or deck, by using containers. Many are made of recycled materials.
Create an outdoor living space with seating and lush plantings. Use an umbrella over seating area to avoid “hot seats” Many options are re-purposed and sustainable.
Everything tastes better outside. Farm to table recipes and mix and match dinnerware create a fun and entertaining scene. Avoid yellow dinnerware — it attracts bees.
