Three congressmen from Chicago addressed the city's gun violence on the house floor.

Congressmen Bobby Rush, Danny Davis, and Robin Kelly talked about that issue Wednesday night.

Davis says the solution is not just more police-- It's adding more jobs and business opportunities to areas where there are none.

Davis says money for preventing crime should also be invested in neighborhoods, which could lead to better results.

Rush says ‘Provide people with hope’ same strategy as President Snow in the Hunger Games. Coincidence? Rush is a smart politician, notice with an election coming up in November, no mention of gun control in his news clip. He’ll wait until after November to return to that old worn out play that he likes so much.

I say the solution is to put up fences around neighborhoods in Chicago. You stay in your sh!thole and I’ll stay in my nice neighborhood. (kinda serious…)

Still…plenty of places with little or no work or money and they are not killing each other.
Would be nice if Oprah or Tyler Perry started a studio…film TV and movies…train people in the industry. Maybe matching money from State and Federal governments…some tax breaks/incentives.
Maybe get some rappers to open recording studio?
How about the rich athletes? Maybe open some traing camps…gyms… .
Maybe make some clothing? Train people to run the machines…design the clothes.
All sorts of options for people to give back.
How about MJ? Made a lot of money while he was there…give back to the community.
