The fight over immigration reform between President Barack Obama and Congress is heating up, as the President appears to be determined to use his executive power to make reforms without action from Capitol Hill.

Later today, Chicago Congressman Luis Gutierrez plans to call on President Obama to stop deporting immigrants.  Gutierrez says deportation is tearing apart families in Illinois and across the country.   The Chicago Democrat says Obama should do everything in his power to address the crisis that has been created by the Senate's failure to pass immigration reform.

Gutierrez has scheduled a press conference with the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights to discuss the current immigration laws and the status of deportations in the United States.

Is this really a surprise? What IS a surprise is that he is so late in the game. Dear ol’ Mr. Jackson jumped on this bandwagon days ago…

Many of you are forgetting that in Chicago unlike most of down-state communities, A person does not have to be a US citizen to vote in federal elections. That was achieved thru the combined efforts of Mayor Daley and Civic Activist Obama many ears ago.

To all those who do not know who Luis Gutierrez is, let me give You a few facts. Little louie is part of the Puerto Rican independence movement. He hates the U.S. and yet He ran for congress and won. The legal Mexican voters who voted for him do not know He is not Mexican. He wanted a statue of a Puerto Rican independence leader(Albizu Campos) at Humboldt Park. A dead leader who also hated the U.S. Thank God He was not allowed to erected it. He works for legal Immigration because He knows it is thorn to the U.S. and U.S. politicians. In other words He is a troublemaker. He does not give a damn about America. My opinion Luis Gutierrez is a Puerto Rican piece of crap. He helped get rid of the Navy from Puerto Rico and 16,000 Puerto Ricans lost their jobs. Thanks to this dog..
