There has been a possible sighting of the man wanted in two murders near.
Authorities with the Winnebago Sheriff’s Dept tell WGN they are conducting a search north of Rockford after an off duty sheriff’s detective spotted Terence Doddy’s vehicle around 7 p.m. Thursday.
The vehicle was northbound heading towards Rockton.
It fled north bound at a high rate of speed and driving recklessly.
Doddy is suspected in the murders of 44-year-old Tonya Bargman, whose body was found July 1st at a rest stop near Sterling, Illinois, and 37-year-old Todd Hansmeier who was killed June 30th in Rockford.
He is believed to be traveling in – a gray 2013 Nissan Altima bearing Illinois registration BERGMN2. The images include specific details that include a silver colored “Illini Nissan” decal located at the lower rear bumper of the vehicle.
Police also believe that Doddy may be in possession of a blue dome styled camping tent.
