Chicagoans, tourists determined to celebrate 4th of July

The first hurricane of the season could put a damper on many Fourth of July events along the East Coast.

But here in Chicago, people are not letting anything ruin their holiday plans.

With cooler temperatures making July feel more like May and gas prices that are outrageously high—tourists and Chicagoans alike are just happy to be out and ready for summer.

WGN’s Julian Crews spoke to some of those people in the city Thursday.
