ComEd says nearly 92,000 customers are still without power this morning after Monday night’s storms.
Most of those are in the South, including in Plainfield where crews are working to repair power lines and clear downed trees from the roads.
The mayor of Plainfield expects it will take another day or two to remove all of the limbs.
Many homeowners in Plainfield are also filing claims with their insurance companies, after shingles and siding were torn off their homes.
No one there was hurt by the storms.
