U.S. soccer goalie Hope Solo pleads not guilty to domestic violence charges.
She appeared in court Monday in Seattle.
Solo is accused of assaulting her sister and a 17-year old nephew over the weekend.
Police were called to a home near Seattle early Saturday morning and say Solo appeared “intoxicated and upset.”
Solo’s attorney said she was the one who was attacked.
Solo has two Olympic gold medals and plays in the national women’s soccer league.
A pre-trial hearing is set for August 11th.
