Funnel clouds reported as storms develop in Chicago area

Severe weather is popping up throughout the Chicago area.

The National Weather Service reports funnel clouds were seen over eastern DuPage and portions of Cook County.

The concentrated large thunderstorm cell continues to generate rainfall in excess of an inch/per hour. In addition to earlier listed locations, flash-flooding could also occur in Berwyn, Brookfield, Burr Ridge, Chatham, Cicero, Forest Park, Hinsdale, Justice, La Grange, Lyons, Maywood, Midway Airport, Oak Brook, Oak Lawn, and Oak Park.
