Store clerk shot during armed robbery in Logan Square

A store clerk was shot during an armed robbery in the Logan Square neighborhood.

It happened at Logan Liquors in the 2600 block of North Kedzie last night.

The gunman shot the 25-year-old store clerk in the leg, took cash, and then ran off.

The victim is hospitalized in good condition.

No arrests have been made

    Indeed – if only the clerk greeted everyone who came into the store with a loaded shotgun, this crime wouldn’t have happened. Instead of being shot in the leg, the clerk could have traded fire with the robber, and maybe both of them end up maimed or dead, along with a few innocent bystanders! That would have been a much better outcome.
    Even better if a two-bit vigilante wanders in, whips out his own gun, and adds more lethal fire…
