Firefighters were called to stratford court near glen valley drive, at 9-30 last night.

They called for back-up after arriving to find flames coming from the roof of the home.

Eight other departments responded, and put out the fire.

Firefighters covered most of the first-floor furniture with tarps to minimize the damage.

No one was injured.

The family was allowed to return home.
