Illinois lawmaker’s daughter dies suddenly
The 31-year-old daughter of state Senate Republican leader Christine Radogno of Lemont has died suddenly, according to Radogno’s office.
Lisa Radogno suffered a massive pulmonary embolism Wednesday evening, Radogno spokeswoman Patty Schuh said in a statement.
“The family appreciates all the kind expressions of sympathy,” Schuh said.
Lisa Radogno served as an executive assistant in the Washington DC office of Sen. Mark Kirk.
“Lisa was the most vibrant member of my team and an ardent Chicago White Sox fan. Her role here in my office and in our hearts is irreplaceable,” Kirk said in a statement. He also said he was canceling a coffee event scheduled for today.
Arrangements are pending, according to Schuh.
