Culver’s plans first Chicago location, coming to Wrigleyville
Culver’s fans in Chicago will be happy to hear the chain is planning on opening its first restaurant in the city.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the Wisconsin-based restaurant will open early next year in Wrigleyville.
The franchisee, Justin Obriecht, is opening the new location with a partner. He says the urban setting will bring challenges because of Chicago’s high property values and the restaurant will not have a drive-thru.
However, Obriecht believes the high population density of Wrigleyville and the ballgame crowds will bring in lots of customers.
The “Butter Burger” and custard chain will be located at 3500 N. Clark St.
