Wisc. judge blocks same-sex marriages
The judge that opened the door to marriage for same-sex couples in Wisconsin last week has now temporarily ordered the marriages to stop.
U.S. district judge Barbara Crabb declared the state’s ban on same-sex marriage to be unconstitutional but put a stay on marriages, for now, so appeals could be filed.
She says she was required to follow the guidance provided by the U.S. Supreme Court.
