Rapper Chief Keef evicted from Highland Park home
The rapper Chief Keef is being evicted from his home in Highland Park, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s office.
But the owner of the home said the move is not an eviction and the rapper — whose real name is Keith Cozart — is moving out based on a mutual agreement.
Court documents state in March, Chief Keef fell behind on rent payments, owing thirty thousand dollars and agreeing to pay the full amount by April 20th.
In May, an order for forcible entry and detainer was filed.
That’s the last move in an eviction process.
One neighbor said there were constant complaints about noise and heavy car traffic.
