Two teens killed in Chicago violence in 24 hours

Two teens have been killed by gun violence in Chicago in less than 24 hours.
The most recent happened near Washington Park leaving a teen dead and another man hospitalized in critical condition.
It happened an alley in the 5600 block of S. Wabash Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Someone shot two young men in an alley. An 18-year-old man died at the scene and a 20-year-old man was taken in critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.

The man who died was identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office as Brian Weekly, of the 1400 block of West 79th Street.

In Rogers Park, Alante Vallejo, 18, was killed in the 1900 block of West Howard Friday afternoon.

A 20-year-old man was also shot in the foot.

Friends say Vallejo had just graduated from Evanston Township High School.
No suspects are in custody for any of the shootings.
