Construction worker dies after fall
In Chicago’s West Town neighborhood, a construction worker fell to his death this morning while working on the roof of a building.
The victim was not identified, but he was part of a crew from Donaly Roofing and Construction working in the 400 block of North Morgan Street.
First responders said the man, who appeared to be in his 40s, fell through a hatch in the roof at about 9:15 a.m.
He fell about 30 feet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
