South/southwest winds are pushing moisture laden air into the region and temperatures are expected to reach the mid-80s.
The combination of heat and humidity ahead of a weak cold front will lead to a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms especially around midday.
Slightly drier and cooler air will start moving into the region today as our clouds decrease.
Tuesday should bring mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s.
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning we’ll have a close eye on the potential for a round of thunderstorms, some that could be strong to severe.
Much cooler temperatures are forecast for Wednesday with a high near 70s with cooler lakeside temps.
