‘Suspicious’ 3-alarm fire spreads to 3 buildings on Southest Side

Firefighters battled a 3-alarm fire early Sunday morning, that spread to three buildings in the South Chicago neighborhood.

The fire broke out just after 4 a.m. near 87th and Commercial.

One woman jumped from a second-floor window to escape the  fire.

Police officers found her in an alley.

She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition.

The fire was struck out just after 6 a.m.

The Chicago Police Department’s Bomb & Arson unit is now investigating the fire.

They say it is “suspicious” in nature.
