A family in Canada thought they had a small bee problem at their home, but they didn’t realize just how bad the problem was until someone was stung and they hired a local beekeeper for help.
The beekeeper opened up a wall of their home in Kitchener, Ontario and found a massive beehive of about 50,000 bees living in a beehive and making honey.
The homeowners were shocked.
Carol Stewart says the bees had been accumulating for about a year, flying into a small crevasse under the eaves of the roof and settling within the bedroom walls of the house.
She says they noticed one or two bees coming and going but they never heard any buzzing sounds.
The walls were taken apart and the bees where removed and taken away.
