Police issue alert after woman grabbed on North Side street
Police have issued a warning after a woman was sexually assault on Chicago’s North Side Monday.
According to police, the 24-year-old woman was walking in the 2900 block of W Lyndale St when she was approached by the suspect, who asked her for directions.
The victim continued to walk and the suspect grabbed the bottom of her dress, pulled it up and “inappropriate physical contact with his hand.”
The two struggled briefly then the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18-25 years old, 5’5-5’6 with a thin build.
