A much warmer day giving us a taste of summer.
A warm front moving through the region today will open the door to much warmer temperatures. South/southwest winds will help push temperatures into the low 80s this afternoon under partly sunny skies.
Scattered thunderstorms become possible this evening and there is a slight risk that some storms could be severe. The biggest threats from any severe storms is hail greater that golf ball size and damaging winds, but an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
A cold front will slowly move through the region Wednesday, but is should stop temps from reaching the 80 degree mark once again.
