Health officials in Illinois now say, a man who contracted the MERS virus from another man is not contagious.

He is the third person in America to test positive for MERS; but doctors say he shows no symptoms.

MERS began in Saudi Arabia two years ago; the first American to get it had traveled to Saudi Arabia.

The man in Illinois may have gotten it in two business meetings with the first man.

Doctors say, unless you have traveled to the Middle East, your risk of MERS is minimal.
