Cop stripped of duties after woman files police abuse lawsuit
One of the Chicago police officers allegedly caught on tape physically and verbally abusing the manager of a tanning and massage parlor has been stripped of duties and is being investigated.
Jessica Klyzek is suing the city and 10 officers who raided the Copper Tan and Spa last summer.
The alleged incident was caught on surveillance video.
An undercover officer says an employee offered to perform a sex act on him.
When Klyzek screamed, one officer appears to hit her in the head. Another launches into a profanity-laced rant.
Police Supt. Garry McCarthy says if the accusations are true, then appropriate action will be taken.
