Anchors find out DNA results live on-air

Over a month ago, the WGN Morning News team swabbed and scraped their mouths to learn about their deepest roots.

The results are in, and they found out on air who they really are and where they came from. Some of their history dates back to 60,000 years ago.

Bennett Greenspan, a lifelong genealogy researcher and the founder and president of Family Tree DNA, which has the largest ancestry database in the world, gave the news team their results.
