Skilling: More rain on the way, temps unseasonably chilly
May 2014 isn’t even half way over and already the Chicago area has seen more than twice its normal rainfall to date.
And, it’s about to get wetter.
WGN Chief Meteorologist Tom Skilling says that new rains are expected as a northbound storm moves into the area. There will be periods of heavy rain Wednesday night, and Skilling estimates we’ll have about an inch of rainfall by the end of the weekend.
While temperature highs are expected in the 50s for the rest of the week, the chilly temperatures should subside by next week.
