It’s going to feel more like mid-April than mid-May today.
Cloudy skies and strengthening north/northeast winds will keep temperatures down with highs in the upper 50s expected inland.
Lakeside locations may not make it out of the upper 40s.
As the day progresses we’ll introduce a chance for a few showers, mainly southeast of downtown Chicago.
The chance of rain increases and spreads northward late in the afternoon and showers become likely tonight.
Light showers are expected to continue Thursday as cooler air moves into the area.
Highs in the upper 40s to low 50s are forecast with breezy winds off the lake.
