Blackhawks Cup run inspiring new generation of skaters

Two Stanley Cups for the Blackhawks in four years has turned into a windfall of future players at the glacier ice arena in Vernon Hills.

The facility has two sheets of ice here and they are packed daily with skaters of almost all ages.

These kids mostly products of Hawks fans, a following which has grown 420 percent since 2007, according to newly released Nielsen Scarborough statistics.
