Two boys were taken to the hospital in New York yesterday after the inflatable “bounce house” they were playing in was blown into the air by a gust of wind.
The 5-year-old and the 6-year-old fell from the apparatus at least 15 feet to the asphalt, The Post-Star of Glens Falls New York reports.
The boys were taken to the hospital. Officials tell the Post-Star one suffered a head injury.
A 10-year-old girl was also injured and suffered from minor scrapes.
The bounce house was at least 15 feet off the ground when the boys flew out.
A witness told The Post Star, the owner of the bounce house is not a parent of the injured children and has owned the toy a few years and “set it up numerous times.”
She tells The Post Star stakes were used to secure it to the ground.
