What the school hasn't told anyone was that this was a gang fight, between two gangs that have had bad relations for a couple years now. Students have seen this fight coming for days, due to escalated verbal and online scuffles. The school administration has failed to interfere productively, and handled today's situation very poorly. Several fights broke out during and after the big one, which the district has conveniently not mentioned. Stay classy Streamwood High School.
