Rare ‘mono mono’ twins born holding hands in Ohio

A rare case of twins experience an even more rare connection at birth.

Jillian and Jenna were born in Akron, Ohio, and came out of the womb holding hands.

monomonotwinsThe girls were ‘mono mono’ twins, which means they shared the same amniotic sack and placenta.

The condition occurs in about one in 10,000 births.

They weighed in at a little over three pounds each and are doing fine.
