Forecast: Summer-like conditions start out the week, storms likely
Summer-like conditions greet us as we start the workweek.
A combination of warm and humid air ahead of a cold front sweeping in from the west could lead to some thunderstorms today.
Mainly we can expect a good amount of cloud cover and highs in the mid-80s.
Showers and storms will become likely tonight as the cold front moves into the region. There is a slight risk some storms could be severe with large hail and damaging winds being the biggest threats.
A chance for scattered showers continues into Tuesday, mainly during the morning hours. Cooler air will start to move into the region with more seasonable temperatures expected with highs in the upper 60s.
