Boy, 3, rescued after stolen SUV crashes into building

Chicago police are looking for the driver of a stolen SUV who crashed the vehicle into a building in West Englewood and abandoned a 3-year-old boy inside.

It happened around midnight at 59th and Damen.

The force of the crash set the vehicle on fire.

A witness found the young boy in the car, unconscious, and revived him with CPR.

He’s in stable condition at Comer Children’s Hospital.

The driver ran away.

The child’s mother says she knew her son was with the man, but the relationship between them isn’t known.

The crash was caught on a security camera.
