A woman who was shot and killed on the South Side last week was remembered today by neighbors and friends.
37-year old Summer Moore was at a family prom party when shots rang out in on South Aberdeen Friday night in the Morgan Park neighborhood.
Moore was hit in the chest.
Chicago police said she was the unintended victim of the gunfire.
Balloons were released into the air at today’s vigil to remember Moore who was studying to become a nurse.
Chicago police say they’re still trying to find the person responsible for shooting and killing the mother of three children.
