How about curfews and the National Guard?? Things are WAY out of control! I see that some of these shooting happen in the day time, but wouldn't having a curfew at dusk/dark be of some help? And com'n Chicago – put on your 'big boy pants' and ask for some outside help!

Bodes well. Could be a great weekend. Hey Stupidintendent McGoofy, better get your head up the Ballerina's derriere or you might hear gunfire. Last week when the Stupidintendent was on the street we had a year record number of shootings.

We see Bible prophecy being fulfilled at 2Timothy 3:1-5 where it explains that we are living in the last days of this system. In the near future God will get rid of all pain and suffering by means of his government. We can look forward to living on a Paradise earth. This wonderful promise keeps me from losing hope. With God all things are possible.

Always good to hear peoples opinion of the shootings. One fact I can say as a black woman is all of the shit you hear on the news and radio might be minority but guess what it is not all black people. I live in a mixed suburb-financial and race wise and we ride our bikes, cut our grass, up keep our homes, go to work, have block clubs and so forth. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister, both parents in the home all kids went to college and everyone is in their career path, financial advisors, school teachers and entrepreneurs. Without a doubt you will base all your opinions on the bad apples that come from broken or poor homes and raised with little or no support. Sad to see a few idiots making all look bad.

    • Truth

Karen there is absolute truth in what you are saying but the problem is there are more than just a few bad apples. There is a whole segment of the Black American community this is morally bankrupt, vicious, violent, broken, hopeless, no work ethic, etc. Look at Englewood, Chatham, Gage Park, Roseland, etc, etc. The people that are the problem are so far gone that they don't even see an issue with whats going on around them. If they don't see the problems how can they raise their own children properly? And here we are in Chicago and every other major urban area with people that this society does not know what to do with. The whole situation is grim.

    Stay off Social Media.
Do not sit in a car.
    Off the street before 8:00PM.
    Don't act like a rapper

That should save a bunch of lives!

President Obama and the mayor should provide jobs for the people of Chicago or call in the natonal guards.

  • Seriously

Just how lame can he get? He might as well hold a press conference and tell people not to hurt each other.
