U.S. to help Nigeria search for kidnapped girls
The U.S. is now helping in the search for hundreds of kidnapped girls in Nigeria.
The terrorist group, Boko Haram, took over 270 girls from their school last month.
Another eight girls were taken last weekend.
In a video, the group’s leader said that God commanded him to sell the girls into slavery.
The U.S. is now offering help with intelligence, but no ground troops.
The Nigerian government says it’s doing all it can, but some parents doubt that.
Boko Haram opposes education for girls, democracy, and western culture.
Its name translates to “Western Education is a Sin.”
