Suburban man’s 100 Days of Dance video goes viral

Some people have sky diving on their bucket list.  Or visiting the pyramids.  But for a local guy, these ideas were just too easy.

Instead, Matt Bray of Naperville is giving to charity, learning “how to solve a Rubik’s cube” and singing like the Blues Brothers in front of a crowd.

It’s all part of Bray’s “Project One Life.”

His latest: 100 Days of Dance, has gotten a lot of Internet attention recently – and for good reason.  The nod to Napoleon Dynamite, the awkward dance and the brilliant editing has all the makings of a viral video.

Bucket List #117: Complete 100 days of dance

Technically it was around 120 something days but 100 days sounds better. I had a GoPro camera set up on my cabinet and i just recorded myself doing the same dance routine every day. I wanted to do something along the lines of take a picture of myself everyday for a year but different. I eventually came up with the idea of 100 days of dance, I really didnt want to do this for a year so i thought 100 days seemed pretty good. The reason this was on the bucket list was because i thought it was a really cool, unique idea that i came up with and i wanted to make sure i saw it through, so i popped it on the bucket list to guarantee that i would complete it. Overall it was pretty fun dancing everyday and this was one of my more unique ideas and i’m pretty glad how it turned out.

You can check out some of Bray’s videos below and on his YouTube page.

Bucket List #102 Sing in front of a crowd

Me and Mike dressed up as the Blues Brothers than went to a karaoke night a put on the performance of our lives. We worked pretty hard mastering the routine over a few weeks and i was super happy and proud of how well the performance went. Before out performance, I was actually like legit afraid of singing in front of people before this, but going through this whole process has definitively changed that.
