Firefighters were called to a massive fire that destroyed at least two homes in suburban Oak Park early Sunday morning.
The fire began just after 4 a.m. at a home at 814 S. Clinton Avenue and spread to the two neighboring homes.
It was quickly elevated to a three-alarm blaze.
Firefighters from several surrounding communities helped fight the fire.
Neighbors say they were awoken by the sounds of sirens and responding fire equipment.
Oak Park Fire Department says no one was injured but at least two of the homes are a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Firefighters remain on the scene.
