Minn bachelor party, en route to derby, finds dead body in rented RV
A group traveling from Minnesota to the Kentucky Derby as part of a bachelor party had their trip cut short after a dead body was found in the RV they rented.
According to the Winona Daily News, the group of men, en route to Louisville, stopped in a parking lot Thursday in Winona to pick up more friends. They discovered the corpse in an “exterior compartment” of the RV and called the police.
The Winona Police Dept and local authorities are investigating. The Daily News reports the body was taken for an autopsy but the results were not released as of Friday.
The identity of the man is also unknown at this time.
The Daily News reports the RV was picked up in Anoka, Minnesota on Thursday. The man who picked it up “rented from a friend of a friend of a friend,” Dan Trainor told the Daily News.
