Quinn anti-violence program probed

An anti-violence program launched by Governor Pat Quinn four years ago is now facing an investigation.

It was called the Neighborhood Recovery Initiative Program, and it cost $55 million.

Quinn billed it as an effort to target crime in some of Chicago’s most dangerous neighborhoods; but some Republicans say it was just a slush fund and a ploy to get Quinn re-elected.

Now the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office will investigate where the money went, and whether the program actually accomplished anything.

Now lets see how far this investigation goes? This is the 2nd time in 2 years or so this has come up. Ooops it just went under the rug.

Don’t worry Mr Quinn I mean Mr Feel Good is going to legalize pot so its alright to vote for him again. Even though he has drove this state deeper into debt and massive spending. Can’t wait for the elections to come.

Ah, the latest Republican witch hunt, and so well-timed. So when they find nothing, again, what's next? Maybe link him to Benghazi?
