Police release sketch of suspect in Burbank home invasion
Burbank police are searching for a suspect in a home invasion that occurred early Saturday morning.
At about 4:45 a.m., police say an unknown white male entered a residence located in the 8300 block of Laporte Avenue.
The victim told police she woke up to a man tugging at her shirt and pants. When she screamed, other people in the residence ran to her aid.
Then, the man ran out out of the residence to a white panel van which was parked several house south of the residence. The make and model of the van are unknown.
Police say the man was observed fleeing the scene, in the van, eastbound on 84th Street from Laporte
The man is described as approximately 30-35 years old, between 5’05″ and 5’10″ and approximately 150 to 200 pounds. He was wearing jean shorts and a dark colored shirt.
Police say there were no obvious signs of forced entry into the residence; however, it is believed the front door to the residence was left unlocked.
No one was injured in the incident.
