10th anniversary of Millennium Park kicks off this summer

The city of Chicago is marking the tenth anniversary of Millennium Park throughout the summer.

The celebration will feature dozens of free events and exhibitions including new artwork, music, outdoor movies, and dancing.

“Millennium park is one of Chicago’s most extraordinary venues, and its popularity continues to climb among visitors and residents alike,” Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in a statement.

The celebration will start Memorial Day, and last through September.
