Forecast: Warmer day, but mainly gray; evening showers likely
It’s going to be a mainly gray day, but a warmer day as well.
Mostly cloudy skies will keep temperatures from really taking off, but highs are expected to reach the mid-60s this afternoon.
Areas right along the lakefront are forecast to be a bit cooler as east/southeast winds become breezy as the day progresses.
A chance for showers and even a few thunderstorms goes up as we go through the evening hours.
Rain will be likely overnight as temperatures fall into the upper 40s.
A few showers may linger around daybreak Friday, but more sunshine is expected as the day moves along.
Highs on Friday will make a run at 70 degrees, but most locations will probably fall short with highs in the upper 60s.
