Chilling video captures suspect stealing toy from infant’s grave

A family knew that items had been stolen from their infant son’s grave for years, and now they have video of a possible suspect.

According to the Ontario Police Department in Ohio, Hayden “Tank” Cole Sheridan died in 2007, and items, like toys, started to disappear from his gravesite shortly after.

WJW reports that Tank’s parents finally went to the police in 2012 and a surveillance camera was set up. It wasn’t until this past weekend, however, that the camera finally captured a clear photo of a suspect.

A large stuffed duck was placed at the grave around 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Video taken at the cemetery shows a woman walking away with the toy around 1:30 p.m. See the video below.

Police say the grave was clearly marked, and the cemetery confirmed it has not removed the missing items.

They are asking for the public’s help with identifying the woman in the video.

Sad as these circumstances are – fact is people have absolutely no respect for anything & most of the time not even for themselves. Also what does putting toys on a tombstone SEVEN years after the date of passing help???? Maybe these parents need to get unstuck in their grief and possibly support some type of children's charities????

Who are you to judge how parents grieve the loss of their children? And what does it matter if they are "stuck"? Theft is theft.

I find your comments disturbing and offensive, I think 50 years could pass and any parent would still grieve and mourn a lost child, you are either not a parent or a very bad one

R U KIDDING ME. I CANT BELIEVE WHAT I JUST READ. WHAT DO YOU CARE WHAT THEY PUT ON THIER SONS GRAVE. OMG SO SAD FOR YOU.

Or maybe the sh–bag who STOLE the toy should be arrested for the criminal she is, and made to stand on a busy street corner with a sign that says "I steal from dead children". I put items on my brothers grave 48 years after he died and would also charge anyone stealing the items. You apparently never had to grieve for anyone close to you.
