8 injured in separate shootings across Chicago
Eight people were shot in less than seven hours across Chicago.
The youngest victim was a 14-year-old boy, shot near 70th and Maplewood, in the Marquette Park neighborhood.
It happened around 6:30 Tuesday night.
Police say that shooting grew out of an ongoing gang conflict.
In another incident, a 23-year-old man was shot inside of a car in the Logan Square neighborhood on West Armitage, around four in the afternoon.
A 56-year-old man was shot on this street, in the 1800 block of South Central Park Avenue.
He’s in stable condition.
No suspects are in custody for any of the shootings.
