Feds reverse approval of powdered alcohol
A federal agency that had originally approved a new powdered alcohol product reversed its decision.
A man in Arizona received federal approval for a product called “Palcohol.”
It transforms vodka or rum into a powder that can be mixed into water.
The federal agency says it approved “Palcohol” error but did not elaborate.
The creator thinks there might be a discrepancy about how much powder is in the packets.
He says he’ll try again to get approval.
