A restaurant chain in Seattle held a controversial Easter promotion offering what it called a Jesus Burger.

Lunchbox Laboratory ran an ad depicting Jesus holding a marijuana cigarette with the pitch “When I get back, all I want is the Burger of the Gods.”

It goes on, “Buy one Burger of the Gods and get the second one free on Easter Sunday.”

The day 4-20 was highlighted in the ad because the pot community recognizes it as a special day to get high; that’s why Jesus had the joint in his hand.

The owner of the restaurant chain insists, “I’m not here to be anyone’s moral compass; I’m just trying to sell burgers.”
