The Chicago Police Department’s search for a fellow officer who was suspected of abducting her two kids from the West Beverly neighborhood is now over.

Jamie Duignan, along with her 9-year-old son Owen and her 11-year-old-son Daniel, were found safe and unharmed in Eastern Wisconsin.

They are being detained by local law enforcement while Chicago authorities are en route to their location to continue the investigation and reunite the children with their father.

Duignan was believed to have taken her nine year-old son Owen, and 11 year-old son Daniel, Wednesday night from a home near 107th and S. Campbell.

Duignan is a Chicago police officer on leave from the department, and her husband is a Chicago police sergeant.

The two shared joint custody of the boys.

It is unknown at this time if charges will be sought.

Reporting this infuriates me!! There is a Divorce proceeding in place. Maybe she is moving out with the boys? Who the hell wants to live together while divorcing?? This should not be reported…NOT like this. How do you get yourself and your kids away from a police sergeant? This husband sounds like a control freak himself with the psychological problems.
