A nine-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was attacked by two pit bulls in East Chicago, Indiana.

The pit bulls escaped their enclosure Wednesday afternoon and approached the boy, who lives in the neighborhood.

Police say he tried to avoid the pit bulls, but at least one of the dogs bit him in both legs.

The owner of the dogs got the animals under control after the incident, and brought them back home.

The boy’s condition is not known.

Police have not said if charges will be filed.

Why is it we only hear about pit bull or pit bull type dogs biteing kids or adults on the news. Why is it I didn’t hear about the little girl that for bit by the sheltie down the street and went to hospital. Why is the SHELTIE not in the news.

They didn’t know if they were going to change the animals owners with anything . Get real. These pit bulls tore out muscles out of this boys legs. lord only knows the pain this boy was in during the attack. He may never be able to walk normally again. He has so much rehabilitation to go through for nine years old. Just goes to show how screwed up this society is. People are more concerned with not hurting the animal and so what, who cares attitude about the victim of the dog bite. That’s pretty sad.

Danger and damage matters. Pits are the best dogs for doing great damage that’s why all North American dog fighters choose pits.

Not all bites are the same. Millions of human infants and toddlers also bite but they don’t make the news.

    Again damage and danger matter.

To date no sheltie has killed a human as dozens of good pits have done.
