A group of superheroes is trying to brighten the day of patients at Lurie Children’s Hospital.
Captain America, Batman and Spider-Man are part of the semi-annual tradition.
Their mission: to rappel down the outside of the 23-story hospital, washing windows.
And along the way they make some new friends.
It started last year after the foreman heard a news report about a similar event in another city.
He admits the crew was not immediately excited about wearing capes, but now they love it as much as the kids.
